Abstract

This research attempts to explain the process of Dramatism for Traffic Police Imaging through the Police Story show on Inews TV. In this study, researchers developed the framework of Kenneth Burke's dramatic drama, which consists of six dramatic Pentad elements, and examined six types of Frank Jefkins imagery. Six Pentad elements namely; actions, scenes, agents, agencies, goals, and attitudes. The results of this study found that there has been a dramatic drama for traffic police imaging through the Police Story show on Inews TV. Through the Police Story show, traffic police have a place to provide education to road users and also the public. In doing scenes on every traffic police program that acts against violators, it provides sanctions and also education of wrongdoers in a humane way and this can have a good impact on the image of the traffic police.
