Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Ruangan terhadap Retensi Perawat di RS Bogor

Background: The high turnover of nurses in a hospital can interfere with the activities and productivity of nursing services. In addition, nurse turnover can also create instability in the quality of service. One of the factors that can increase retention. Methods: This research is cross sectional, with a total sampling of 65 respondents. The analysis used multiple logistic regression. Results: The transformational leadership style of the head of the room has a relationship with nurse retention with an OR of 8.85 after controlling for the confounding variables of education and marital status. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the Head of Room's Transformational Leadership Style with nurse retention with an 8.5 times greater chance after controlling for the counfounding variables Education and marital status. Suggestion: The head nurse is expected to use a transformational leadership style in an effort to change positive behavior for mutual progress.
