Copyright Notice

All authors who publish with the Empowering Communities Research Hub (ECRH) retain their copyright for their work, and they grant the ECRH the right of first publication. By submitting their work to the ECRH, authors agree to the following terms:

  • Copyright: The authors grant the Empowering Communities Research Hub an exclusive license to distribute and publish their work under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Under this license, others may remix, adapt, and build upon the work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit the authors and license their new creations under the identical terms.

  • First Publication Rights: The Empowering Communities Research Hub shall hold the rights for first publication of all submitted manuscripts.

  • Author Rights: Authors retain the copyright for their work and are permitted to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges and greater citation of published work.
